About The Position
Distributed cooperative algorithm. Developing mathematical models guaranteeing consistency
Implementation in C with optimizations
Various APIs between Linux Kernel and user mode apps (procfs, python-to-c, stateless network protocols)
Various testing and debugging mechanisms including: Simulators, Logs, VM’s, profiling mechanisms
5 years of experience working with a Linux OS (bash, grep, /proc).
5+ years of hands-on work as a Linux engineer
Experience with distributed computing.
Extensive C experience
Linux Drivers and Kernel programming
C++ /Assembly/Embedded programming

This transforms flash SSDs from high performance devices with limited usage, to a storage pool with much greater usage, without sacrificing performance.
